If done properly by a trained professional paintless dent repair will restore your vehicle to its pre-loss condition. PDR can be used to repair a wide range of damage. However, factors such as the depth, sharpness or location of the dent can affect whether or not PDR can be used as a repair method.
Paintless Dent Repair is most commonly used for the repair of hail damage, door dings and minor body creases. In most cases, dents in plastic bumpers can also be repaired using the paintless dent repair method. Some factors that may limit the successfulness of a PDR repair can be the age and flexibility of the paint as well as how much the damage has stretched the metal. PDR may not be able to repair extremely sharp dents and creases – at least not without painting afterwards.
